Instrumental Interludes Book I" complete book 1 for 2 flutes,
guitar and/or piano
A set of 5 easy melodious pieces originally for use as “gap-fillers” in church services (many for the annual First Communion service for primary school children in Maria Alm, Austria), specifically written to be easily spontaneously lengthened / shortened to suit the occasion by choosing which sections to rplay/epeat, omit, or jump to at the last minute! Basic duration is given in the title (hence the unimaginative names). The collection contains full scores and all individual parts (2 flutes with guitar chords, guitar in notation to show plucking patterns, & optional piano part). You may well not need to print out the full 68 pages!). The shorter pieces are at the start of the collection.
Careful, you can't get the tunes out of your head!
If you don't require the whole collection, or if you would like to view / hear samples of the individual pieces, the pieces are also available individually, with full scores and all individual parts in one pdf document. The pieces are:

This was written as a 50th birthday present for the local Kapellmeister in Maria Alm, a good friend and excellent musician. (May 2013)
a piece for flute and piano
This piece was written for a good friend, Heidi Widauer for her birthday (May 2018)
in F, arranged for trumpet & organ (Oct 2017)
Processional in B flat, arranged for trumpet & organ (Oct 2017)
Jesu Joy of man's desiring for trumpet and piano (Bach, arr. Peberdy) (Jun 2017)
The trumpet simply plays the chorale melody. I needed this simple arrangement for someone, so here it is!
Prince of Denmark (Clarke) and Trumpet Tune (Purcell) for trumpet and piano / organ
Simple single-page arrangements that I needed, useful to give trumpeters for weddings. Just the of "well-known bits"
Love song: Longing
(September 2016) (piano solo)
Written for a composition competition run by the pianist William Howard for his "Love Songs Project" (http://www.williamhoward.co.uk/love-songs-project-1) in 2016. Although I didn't win, it was a very enjoyable piece to compose and play. Essentially a romantic, haunting theme and variations, but with a contrasting, slightly charged middle section. This piece has not yet had its first public performance, so you could have the premiere - please let me know if you do!
Spark Rag, arranged for piano solo.
The rag proved popular, so I arranged it for 2 pianos and also did this arrangement, for solo piano. (Sept 2014)
